Sak Pase to my Haitian fam! I just wanted to Hip all the Creole speakers to this opportunity....Basically, this organization named Ushahidi is looking for people to help translate emergency text messages from people on the ground in Haiti.
After the earthquake, a free phone number (4636) was set up for people to send text messages requesting food, water, shelter, etc. Now they need volunteers to translate those messages from Creole to English so they can pass them on to the Red Cross, Person Finder, etc. You can donate as much time as you can, even translating one message a day will help!

Ending the year on a solid note and in light of our recent 5th Anniversary, Commonwealth is set to release a small capsule collection with with Seattle based label Maiden Noir. Renowned for their impeccable attention to detailing, Maiden Noir has garnered a loyal following since their first season introduction. It is at no surprise that the same amount of thought and execution has been given to this collaboration with Commonwealth.
Consisting of three jackets, a long sleeve button-up shirt and a wool cashmere beanie - the Commonwealth & Maiden Noir collection blends Japanese cotton fabrics, italian zippers, laser etched leather labels and construction of the highest standards.
