Terence Koh's interpretation of Converse's iconic Chucks is now available at Opening Ceremony for $150...The minimalist design, which is reminiscent of a plaster sculpture, utilizes seamless edges and premium leather laces to achieve a super smooth look...More than sneakers....basically a work of art.

Colette Pump 20 Window Display via Sneaker Obsession
It's been almost 20 years since Reebok's "new idea", and with their new anniversary collaborations, "The Pump" shoe has once again gotten some air under it.
Originally released as a basketball sneaker, Reebok's Pump was created to give the maximum support to a ballers ankles. This was done by allowing the owner to press a inflation device built into the tongue, causing air pockets in the shoe to expand around the foot.
Over the years, the appeal of the shoe became less about it's technology, and more about their distinctive look, which fuels the new "20 Pumps for 20 years" limited edition collaboration series. The collection is made up of 20 different Pump designs coming from 20 of the most popular sneaker outlets in the world, including stores from the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
The result is nothing less than stunning, with some of the models displaying creativity if nothing else, and others immediately ready for inclusion amongst the best sneakers ever created. These shoes will be sold in very limited numbers, ranging in the 20's and 30's, within the next couple of days. Check out this gallery of all 20 Anniversary models, along with links to more pics and information....Also, here's another great gallery from NiceKicks showing all 20 shoes.

Fat Joe and Stephon Marbury created a fair amount of buzz when they announced they were making sneakers that everyone could afford. But what good are affordable kicks if people don't want to wear them? That's why I have to give Jeff Staple props, because through his collabo with Payless, he is making shoes that are not only affordable, but well designed, and most importantly, cool.
The latest drop in his STPL X Payless/AIRWALK collection is the new STAR TREK drop, which co-insides with the DVD release of the latest Star Trek flick (AKA the one with sexy-ass Zoe Saldana in it). The shoes come in the colors of the Enterpise's crew uniforms, and will be sold at The Reed Space as well as Payless Shoes.
From the Staple Design Blog:
Calling all Trekkies. Calling all Trekkies. The DVD for the most recent chapter in the Star Trek saga drops this Tuesday on 11/17/09. To coincide with this, the good people at Star Trek asked us to bring back the Airwalk Terrain for the occasion. If you recall, we did a all Silver Enterprise Edition for the original film’s release back in May 2009. Those were only available at Reed Space.
Now, we will launch a 3 set collection for the DVD release. Each shoe features three Star Trek delta shield logos (back, front and on the tongue). The Terrain’s are available in the three Star Trek uniform colors of “Engineering” Red, “Command” Gold and “Science” Blue. These will be available not only at Reed Space but also select Payless stores as well as Payless.com. (The Gold’s are online exclusives.) As is the rule with the STPLxAirwalk Collection, nothing will retail for more than 50 bucks. Beam me up!

DJ AM may be no longer with us, but he left quite a legacy behind. Part of that Legacy is a huge sneaker collection which includes coveted kicks such as Nike Playstation AF-1's, Eminem Air Jordan 4's, Hyperstrikes, and Supreme Dunks, all models that Sneakerheads dream about.
If you're one of these Sneaker Aficionados, then you will want to check out eBay this weekend, where 800 pairs from DJ AM's personal collection will be sold to benefit the DJ AM Memorial Fund. On sale will be hundreds of Nike, Converse, Reebok, and BAPE sneakers that the late performer collected over 10 years.
If you're interested, the online auction will begin at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, and continue though Monday Dec. 14, with bids taking place via www.ebay.com/djamshoes.

The Court Shoe has always been a prime example of simple, yet sophisticated design, but the Clae Kennedy has extrapolated that formula into a stunning shoe worthy of it's respected status amongst sneaker aficionados.
However, Clae, as part of a collaboration with Stussy LA, has created a truly extravagant version of the Kennedy that is one of my favorite designs for Fall/Winter 09...The Dark Navy upper with Caramel Piping and Gingham lining just oozes class.
This shoe is part of a Limited Edition run, so there will only be 100 pairs manufactured, with about 25 of those for sale online...$90

The new Keds Chukka silhouette is nice in the canvas, but in the suede, it's just plain dope! Available in black or blue at HUFSF.
